Is Cape Coast Castle suitable for children?
Yes, though some of the history covered — including the transatlantic slave trade — is heavy and emotional. We recommend it for children old enough to engage thoughtfully, typically ages 10+.

The canopy walkway sits roughly 30–40 metres above the rainforest floor, with safety rails throughout and guided access.
Is the Kakum canopy walk suitable for people afraid of heights?
The walkway does sway gently and sits high above the ground, so those with a strong fear of heights may find it challenging. Let us know your comfort level and we can talk it through.

Accommodation is arranged independently by travellers. We're happy to recommend trusted hotels if requested.
BOOKING DEPOSIT
A non-refundable booking deposit of £60 per adult and £25 per child is required to secure your tour dates and begin preparing your personalised itinerary.
FINAL PAYMENT
The remaining balance is due 45 days before your tour start date.
Payment instructions will be provided once your booking has been confirmed.
Please note: Final balances are payable by bank transfer. Customers making international payments are responsible for any bank charges, transfer fees or currency conversion costs to ensure the full invoiced amount is received by Motherland Journeys UK.
